Hi, I’m Kara. Welcome to Jinxed by Design.
I make pretty weird things. And weird, pretty things. And sometimes weird, pretty dead things. What started as a grab-bag of crafts I couldn’t stop doing has become a whole little shop: 3D prints (small-batch and one-of-a-kind), resin sculptures with ethically sourced flora and fauna suspended inside, paintings, and a rotating cast of plushies and collectibles I’ve hunted down along the way. Think of it like a Cute Horror and Neon Tie-Dye pie, with Portland Gothic spice, and a little Bad Luck baked in on purpose.

Less-than-blind boxes, pre-hugged plushies, and other second hand curios. All things once loved, rehomed for people who’ll love them too. They live in the Shop alongside the ready-mades.
HOW DIBS WORKS
Some of my one-of-a-kind pieces show a DIBS button instead of (or alongside) a purchase link. That means someone’s probably already interested, but you can get in line. If the person ahead of you bows out, the piece comes to you next. Submit your name, email, and an optional note; I handle the list personally and reach out when it’s your turn. No payment up front, dibs just holds your spot.
